General information for students participating in the Nobel Lottery
If you are a student in Sweden attending a University or University college you may participate in the Nobel Lottery. If you win you will be offered to buy a pair ticket to the Nobel banquet, which costs 3200 SEK (1600 SEK per person). You will also get the chance to attend Nobel NightCap, the formal after party, which will cost an additional 350 SEK. Please do not use hotmail addresses when you register or correspond with us since we cannot guarantee that the emails will come through then. The draw will take place November 2nd and the winners will be notified by email as soon as possible.

Titles:
Please state your title properly, otherwise we will have to change them manually.

Tickets:
The winning tickets are only valid for the banquet and not for the prize ceremony at the Concert hall.

Attire for winners:
Ladies:
Evening gown with long gloves and shawl. Coiffure as you see fit. Elegant, but comfortable shoes are preferable; you will be dancing all night.

Gentlemen:
White tie and tails with all accessories, black formal shoes, white gloves.

Both:
Swedish student's cap (White and clean), and students of technology may choose to wear a so-called "schmeque" without pins or spiggs.

About Nobel NightCap
Anyone who participates in the Nobel festivities may attend Nobel NightCap. This is a very well planned party which takes about six months to arrange, and definitely something you should choose to attend.

FAQ
Q: My companion is not a student, does he/she have to wear a student’s cap?
A: No, that won't be necessary.

Q: May I sell my winning ticket?
A: No, tickets are personal. If you do try to sell your or your companions ticket, they will be revoked.

Q: How do I pay once I win?
A: Follow the instructions in the email sent to you. The account is the same one used for the lottery tickets.
